To Blog Or Not To Blog…

So WordPress, long time no see eh? I last posted almost a year ago, and admittedly it has been 2 years since you had the TLC you deserved, and so much has happened since then, and I’ve had to work through it all without you by my side which was just weird! The start of this week saw me seriously asking myself if I should start writing again. I wanted to, deep inside, more than anything. I wanted to return to that little corner of cyber space that gave me a channel to vent my borderline insanity and outrageous lesbianistic … Continue reading To Blog Or Not To Blog…

Storytime!

It is weird to feel that I have done so much writing recently, and yet none of it has been on here.  I’ve had this story kicking about in my head since last July, and over the months it has turned into a ridiculous amount of scribbles on various pieces of scrap paper.  Fed up of constantly losing, then finding, then re-losing these pieces of paper I decided to actually put some physical structure to this story.  So now that it has actually started to take shape in the English language (as opposed to scrawlings that only I could decipher), … Continue reading Storytime!

Just A Thought….

I come from a great family, a family who are great in every sense of the word.  I mean my whole extended family, not just my immediate family.  If you extend my family tree in the right directions you would find a lot of very successful people.  A family riddled with lawyers, doctors and teachers.  People who will be spoken about so highly whenever people get the chance, men and women alike who are in professions of great wealth, holding positions that they have worked very hard to achieve.  I’m proud of my family, of every single relation, and I … Continue reading Just A Thought….

World Book Night 2013

It took my two weeks to read it.  I hated it, it’s actually the worst book ever. When I was younger the guy who owns the chemist down in Banff asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up.  I said I wanted to be … Continue reading World Book Night 2013

140 Syllables Later…

Shakespeare wrote over 154 sonnets.  I’ve just written my first sonnet and I’m feeling no need to write another one ever again. A sonnet is a poem, more often than not romantically themed, which is exactly 14 lines long.  Each of these 14 lines has exactly 10 syllables, and works to an ‘abab cdcd efef gg’ rhythm.  Basically, if you never paid attention in your english classes, it means that every other line rhymes except for the last two as sonnets are finished off with a rhyming couplet. So maybe it’s because I don’t like rhyme, maybe it’s because apparently  I really like … Continue reading 140 Syllables Later…
