My Favourite Things In February 2019

How is it the end of another month? Time really has been flying and it looks like we will be saying goodbye to 2019 before we know it.

After really pushing myself and this blog in January, I have been a lot quieter this month as I have faced a few demons. I’ve still found joy in a few things this month, though!

So without further ado, here are my top choices for February:

Spending Time With Family

I was able to spend some time with my family away from the hustle and bustle of life this month, and it was nice just to spend some time with the people I love the most and recharge my incredibly drained batteries. Make some time to spend with the people you care about the most.

Roses From Aldi

I bought (okay, I was going to buy and then my Dad insisted on paying for) two bunches of roses from Aldi for myself to try and cheer myself up on Valentine’s Day. Two weeks on and those things are still thriving!  At £2 for a dozen roses (red ones and coloured ones) I would say it’s pretty darn impressive.

The Butterscotch Ice Cream Sundae

Served in the Cairngorm Hotel in Aviemore, this is probably one of my favouritest desserts in existence. It has butterscotch pieces in ice cream, butterscotch sauce and shortbread and comes with two little curly wafers sticking out the top. Definitely not suitable for diabetics or anybody counting calories, but for anybody who’s taste buds are looking for a good time I thoroughly recommend.

BBlonde

Yep, that’s right. I bleached my hair (intentionally this time) and I’m pretty darn pleased with it. The reality is that I was bleaching it so that I could colour it but I found myself quite fond of how it turned out that I haven’t actually coloured it yet, oops.

Hamish The Polar Bear

It’s taken almost a year, but I finally got the chance to go and see the (now not so) baby polar bear Hamish at the Highland Wildlife Park. Oh my heart! He was perfect! I’m already a big fan of polar bears but this was definitely a highlight! Vlog coming soon.
